Viapol Techno Guardian possesses a high puncture resistance compared with a most other protection and drainage systems and replaces the adhesives required to adhere insulation boards to the vapour barrier or vapour check membrane.
VIAPOL TECHNO GUARDIAN POLYESTER APPLICATIONS
Viapol Techno Guardian Polyester is a tanking membrane and effectively replaces conventional HDPE stud membranes as well as providing a combined waterproofing and protection layer on vertical surfaces.
Viapol Techno Guardian Polyester should be fully bonded by torch application to a bitumen primed wall (Viabit Plus). Rolls shoyld be overlapped along the lenght.
20cm wide boanding strips should be cut from any polyester reinforced Viapol 4mm thick membrane and fixed by torch application. The end laps (short sides) should be simply butt jointed and torched to the bonding strip.
