Yellow sintered expanded Polystyrene (free from external expanding agents) in closed cell high density, “RF”(*) self-extinguishing Class 1 (UNI 8457,9174,9177 NORM) obtained from sintered blocks in suitable moulds. After suitable seasoning, these are cut and shaped into thicknesses (sheets) and shapes (profiles) for different uses according to market demands.
(*)The “RF” mark next to the trade name indicates that the product is fire-retardant and self-extinguishing.
According to the special features required, sheets, profiles and materials for coupling are produced in 15/20/25/30/35/40 kg/m3 densities, with suitable thicknesses that influence their compression and heat resistance depending on their intended and final use. Thermal conductivity m is equal to 0.034 W/Mk (0.029 Kcal/mK) the value referring to a density of 20 kg/m3.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION
VETROPAN PS are used for specific purposes, according to the type of coupling. As they are an “integrated system” of different materials, they are generally used for forming heat-proofed covering packs. Profiles are especially used as complementary components in the building sector e.g. for creating reinforced plug frames, eaves, jet formwork etc.
LAYING INSTRUCTIONS
As a general consideration we must not forget that this material is extremely versatile and light and provides excellent mechanical-physical performance in all fields of application. Do not forget that laminated material is easy to lay as insulating packs in all building or industrial sectors.
