Description: Solvent-based decorating protective paint containing aluminium.
Fields of application:
It is used as a protective paint for polymer-bitumen membranes, giving them a brillant silver color appearance.
It is also suitable for decorating cold bituminous blankets.
Application:
The product is frostproof. Do not expose the packagings at a temperature above 40°C.
The paint appears soft and well suspended, with low sediment. It just needs to be slightly mixed to obtain a homogeneus and easier to apply product. It is ready to use and can be applied by spray (using Airless Spray), roller or brush.
Before application, the bituminous surfaces to be treated must be perfectly clean.
We suggest to apply it in dry and good weather on surfaces with falls for the regular flow of rainwater.
It is unadvisable to apply it in summer season, on very hot surfaces during the hottest hours of the day.
The yeld per coat is approximately 150-200 g/m2. Two coats are recommended where longer lasting, higher protection is required.
To maintain a proper membrane painting we recommend to paint every 5 years approximately.
Clean tools with common synthetic or nitrous thinners.
